We are happy to have recently been contracted by these four organizations and programs:
- For the Safe Water Enterprises Project by Siemens Foundation our Rwandan branch is setting up a WebMo that captures data related to the operation and community impact of water kiosks in Kenya. Data will be entered by local consultants and kiosk operators directly via mobile devices and then linked to the project’s logframe indicators to assess progress and identify need for additional support. More info on the project here.
- Powering Agriculture – An Energy Grand Challenge for Development (PAEGC): We have been contracted by GIZ to re-launch Powering Agriculture’s knowledge portal on www.energypedia.info, to update their Toolbox on Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) and to update their internal WebMo monitoring platform. PAEGC seeks to identify and support new and sustainable approaches to accelerate the development and deployment of clean energy solutions for increasing agricultural productivity and/or value in developing countries. It is an initiative of USAID partnering with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Duke Energy Corporation (Duke), the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
- The One Earth Future Foundation will use a WebMo platform for monitoring and evaluation. In addition, we will develop a database for monthly data entries from an economic development program in Somalia, which will directly be linked to monitoring indicators.
- GIZ's program for integrated management of border regions in Burkina Faso will use a WebMo with a logframe for its monitoring. In addition, the system will also allow monitoring of specific indicators developed by the EU for all its funded projects within the Emergency Trust Fund for Africa.
