Dear M&E colleagues in the development sector,
between 20-22 September 2017, Robert and I were able to present WebMo and the latest additions to energypedia consult's portfolio at the annual conference of the German Society for Evaluation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Evaluation, DeGEval) in Mainz, Germany. Building on our previous consultancy services on results-based monitoring, we now offer the whole monitoring package, which we call one-stop-monitoring, including the necessary IT tools. So, what is new?
- Online surveys with LimeSurvey: We enlarged our software portfolio with regard to data collection. From now on, we also support our clients in using the data collection tool LimeSurvey by hosting it and assisting with questionnaire development and layout. Even better: For existing WebMo clients, we can enable an automatic data transfer of survey data into your online monitoring platform. Neat, isn't it?
- Offline survey app: You can also collect data with Limesurvey offline in the field using an app that will synchronize with your LimeSurvey account, as soon as you are back online.
- Sustainable pricing: Some of our client programs struggle with the worry that a once established web-based monitoring system will be offline as soon as the program stops, so that data is no longer available to the public or local partner organizations. As it would be a shame to lose valuable information and stop good practices on knowledge exchange, we have come up with a sustainable pricing model that will guarantee the operation of an online platform even after the main implementing organization or donor has pulled out.
